Emily Wickham is a student at the University of Pittsburgh with majors in both Film Production and Communications, a minor in Business, and a certificate in Television and Broadcasting Arts. Emily’s interest in film began in her childhood when she would force her twin brother to watch Disney movies and romantic comedies with her after school. Ever since, she has been dedicated to film’s unique ability to showcase love and life while bringing joy into people’s lives.

 

Her work at 7to8 started on Forte, where she worked as the film’s Script Supervisor. Today, she is the company’s Business Operations and Distribution Manager and handles budgeting, marketing, and festival planning. Emily has professional experience with the Pittsburgh CLO, University of Pittsburgh, The Pitt News, and PONY Baseball and Softball as well. After college, Emily wishes to combine her love for film with her love for books and pursue a career in literary or intellectual property scouting.
