Founded in 2023 by Adam Snook, 7to8 Production and Distribution began as a grassroots effort to help student filmmakers bring their scripts to life. Born out of passion and persistence, the company started as a humble production house with no budget, little recognition, and a big vision.

Since then, our yellow-and-black branding has steadily popped up on social media feeds and YouTube channels, gaining traction and building a name within Pittsburgh’s creative community.

Now, as our filmmakers transition from students to professionals, 7to8 is evolving, too. We're no longer just making student films. We’re growing into a bold, independent production company focused on telling meaningful stories and helping new voices break into the industry.

Based in Pittsburgh, we’re committed to building up the city’s independent film scene by producing, distributing, and promoting films made right here in the Steel City. We believe Pittsburgh is more than a backdrop. It’s a creative force. And through 7to8, we’re bringing fresh stories, local talent, and indie film culture into the spotlight.
