Nate Drew is a Senior Director of 7to8 Productions. He is a cinematographer, editor, and producer currently studying at the University of Pittsburgh. Growing up in Philadelphia, and spending his time surrounded by history, he is especially passionate about developing stories that show new perspectives on historical events and investigate how those stories contextualize the present.

He has worked in a wide range of fields from web development to live audio visual work. His recent narrative work includes award-winning projects Reverie, Fall For Me Too, Forte, and Palmarius where he worked most notably as a Director of Photography. Currently, Nate is an Executive Producer and Director of Photography on the upcoming feature film Wire, set for release in 2025. Nate has been featured on NBC-10 and other news outlets and his work has won awards at the WHYY Young Creators Studio, Global Shorts Film Festival, and the All-American Film Festival.

Beyond his work with 7to8, he works as a production associate with the University of Pittsburgh creating sports media, and marketing content as well as with the Camera Department Pittsburgh as a rental associate. In 2020, he founded Off The Script Films, a non-profit production company dedicated to preserving and supporting student filmmaking in Pennsylvania.
